Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Bizzbots ("Bizzbots", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information through the Trusto mobile application ("Trusto", the "App", the "Service"). Trusto is a verification and trust-record platform for businesses in high-value trades such as gold loans, jewellery, vehicle finance, and real estate.

By registering for or using Trusto, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Identity Verification (KYC) Information

To verify the identity of every business owner ("Founder") registering on Trusto, we collect:

• Aadhaar number, and Aadhaar-linked details returned by our identity verification partner: full name, date of birth, gender, address, and photograph
• PAN (Permanent Account Number) and associated verification details
• Mobile number linked to the Aadhaar record (where applicable)

Aadhaar-based verification is performed through a licensed third-party identity verification provider. We do not connect directly to UIDAI's Aadhaar authentication infrastructure; verification is carried out under our provider's own UIDAI authorisation.

Aadhaar numbers are encrypted at rest and are never displayed to any other user of the App, including other merchants.

2.2 Business Information

• Business/trade name, business type, and business address
• Association memberships and any role held within an industry trade association

2.3 Contact Records You Create

Trusto allows a Founder to verify and store records about their own customers or counterparties ("Contacts"), including the Contact's Aadhaar-verified identity details, mobile number, and address. This information is provided by, and is the responsibility of, the Founder who creates the record — Bizzbots acts as a processor of this data on the Founder's behalf.

2.4 Reviews and Offence Reports

Founders may submit ratings, written feedback, and formal offence reports about a Contact. Offence reports may include incident details, evidence descriptions, and witness information supplied by the reporting Founder.

2.5 Device and Security Information

• Device identifiers, for device-approval and account-security purposes
• Biometric authentication is processed entirely on your device using your device's own secure hardware; Bizzbots never receives, stores, or has access to biometric data (such as fingerprint images) itself

2.6 Wallet and Transaction Information

• Wallet balance and transaction history for paid verification and reporting services within the App

3. How We Use Your Information

• To verify the identity of Founders and the Contacts they add
• To operate the peer trust network described in Section 4
• To operate industry trade association governance features (membership, elections, verification workflows)
• To process wallet top-ups and paid verification/reporting charges
• To secure accounts, approve new devices, and prevent fraudulent use
• To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests from authorities

4. How Information Is Shared With Other Merchants

Trusto's core purpose is to let businesses share verified trust information about shared customers. This section describes exactly what is, and is not, shared with other merchants on the platform — please read it carefully.

4.1 What other merchants CAN see about a Contact

• Ratings and written feedback left by other Founders, together with the reviewing business's trade name (never the individual staff member's name)
• Offence reports that have completed our two-stage peer-verification process (see Section 4.2) — limited to the offence type, date, place, and whether it was proven, together with the reporting business's trade name
• An aggregate trust summary (average rating, review count, and count of verified offences)

4.2 What other merchants CANNOT see

• Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or any raw identity document data
• FIR numbers, police station, district, witness details, or evidence descriptions attached to an offence report
• The identity of the individual staff member who submitted a review or report — only the business name is shown
• Offence reports that have been rejected, or are still awaiting verification

4.3 Peer verification safeguard

Before any offence report becomes visible to other merchants, it must be independently checked by two different elected representatives (a "Verifier" and an "Approver") of the reporting business's local industry trade association. The person who filed the report cannot verify or approve their own report. This is intended to reduce the risk of false or malicious reports being circulated, though Bizzbots does not independently investigate the underlying facts of any report — see the Terms of Service for related disclaimers.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited information with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the App:

• Identity verification provider(s) — for Aadhaar/PAN verification
• Cloud hosting and database providers — for storing and running the Service
• Push notification providers — for device approval and security alerts

We do not sell personal information to advertisers or other third parties, and we do not display third-party advertising within the App.

6. Data Security

• Aadhaar numbers are encrypted at rest
• Passcodes are stored as irreversible cryptographic hashes, never in plain text
• Biometric credentials never leave your device
• New devices require explicit approval from an existing authorised device, or re-verification of identity, before gaining access to an account

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We work to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as an account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter as required for legal, regulatory, audit, or legitimate business purposes, including maintaining the integrity of the peer trust record. 8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Requests can be directed to the Grievance Officer named in Section 11.

9. Children's Privacy

Trusto is intended for use by business owners and is not directed at, and should not be used by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the App. Continued use of Trusto after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
